Terms of Use
These terms explain how families, providers, organizations, and visitors may use Hope Care Connect.
1. Purpose of the Service
Hope Care Connect helps families request and connect with private teachers, caregivers, nurses, therapists, arts instructors, respite providers, organizations, and other approved service providers. The service supports provider discovery, requests, and related communication.
2. No Emergency Services
Hope Care Connect is not an emergency response service. If there is an emergency, danger, abuse, neglect, medical crisis, or immediate safety concern, call 911 or the appropriate emergency service right away.
3. Family Responsibility
Families are responsible for deciding whether a provider is suitable. Before hiring anyone privately, families should verify identity, credentials, licenses, insurance, references, background checks, experience, and fit. SentryLink provides background check information when that screening is used. A background check, credential label, profile, introduction, or information shared by Hope does not guarantee safety, quality, suitability, or outcome.
4. Provider Responsibility
Providers are responsible for giving accurate information about their training, credentials, license status, availability, scope of practice, and services. Providers must follow all laws, professional standards, and licensing requirements that apply to their work. If background screening is required, providers must give written consent before Hope requests a third-party background check. Providers and organizations are responsible for carrying any insurance, permits, or approvals required for their services.
5. Independent Providers
Unless a signed written agreement says otherwise, providers listed or introduced through the platform are independent providers or contractors. Hope Educational Services, LLC. does not guarantee any provider's work, outcome, availability, license status, background check result, safety result, or suitability for a specific family.
6. Health, Education, and Care Information
Hope Care Connect is not a medical, clinical, legal, emergency, or school-district service. Families should share only the information needed for a service request and should avoid posting confidential information publicly.
7. Payments and Agreements
Membership payment terms, refunds, cancellations, taxes, and access rules should be stated clearly before families use the directory. Families coordinate service details, scheduling, and service payment directly with the provider they choose unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Families and providers may need their own written service agreement.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation, refund, rescheduling, and no-show rules should be confirmed before a booking begins. If a service cannot be completed, Hope Care Connect may review the situation before issuing any refund, credit, or provider payment.
Monthly family memberships may be canceled anytime, but the first month is non-refundable once directory access is issued. If a family cancels, access ends at the end of the paid billing period. Yearly memberships are non-refundable once directory access is issued, and may be canceled before the next renewal.
Provider membership payments are review fees and do not guarantee approval or placement. Provider membership payments are non-refundable once Hope begins reviewing the application.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated as the service grows. Continued use of the service after updates means the user accepts the updated terms.
