Terms of Use
This page is a plain-language starting point and should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before launch, especially before accepting payments, collecting sensitive health information, or screening providers.
1. Purpose of the Service
Hope Care Connect helps families discover private teachers, caregivers, nurses, therapists, arts instructors, and other service providers. The platform is intended to support introductions and service requests.
2. No Emergency Services
Hope Care Connect is not an emergency response service. If there is an emergency, danger, abuse, neglect, medical crisis, or immediate safety concern, call 911 or the appropriate emergency service right away.
3. Family Responsibility
Families are responsible for deciding whether a provider is suitable. Before hiring anyone privately, families should verify identity, credentials, licenses, insurance, references, background checks, experience, and fit.
4. Provider Responsibility
Providers are responsible for giving accurate information about their training, credentials, license status, availability, scope of practice, and services. Providers must follow all laws, professional standards, and licensing requirements that apply to their work. If background screening is required, providers must give written consent before Hope requests a third-party background check.
5. Independent Providers
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, providers listed or introduced through the platform are independent from Hope Educational Services. Hope Educational Services does not guarantee any provider’s work, outcome, availability, license status, or suitability for a specific family.
6. Health, Education, and Care Information
Families should avoid submitting highly sensitive medical, educational, or personal information unless it is necessary for a service request and the platform has appropriate safeguards in place. Do not post confidential information publicly.
7. Payments and Agreements
If payments are added later, payment terms, refunds, cancellations, taxes, and provider payout rules should be stated clearly before families book services. Launch fees are listed on the Fees page. Families and providers may also need their own written service agreement. Any future monthly provider or organization subscription can be canceled at any time before the next billing cycle unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated as the service grows. Continued use of the service after updates means the user accepts the updated terms.
